Severn Valley Velo Ladies
On a cold bright Sunday morning Severn Valley Velo Ladies (SVVL) was launched. Three brave ladies despite near sub zero temperatures went of on the inaugural ride.
We pedalled along the canal to the old railway line which we then went along until we got to the exit just before Hartlebury. We then followed the lanes down behind Hartlebury Common until we came to Titton. We then went through the caravan park to Lincomb Lock before following the River back into Stourport. We stopped at Blossoms for refreshments and a natter it was delightful to be sat in the sun by the side of the canal wriggling our toes to get the circulation going. Having refuelled we got back on our bikes and cycled back along the canal to the sports centre.
It was a beautiful morning for a ride it was cold but the Sun shone and the exercise and good company kept us warm.
The next SVVL ride will be the 3rd Sunday in February (19th) and every 3rd Sunday of the month thereafter. If you are interested please come along and join us you would be more than welcome for more information please see the SVVL Flyer under Club News.
